Scope & Contractual Summary

Principled retention standards for commercial contracts, tax invoices, accounting records, security telemetry, and secure deletion mechanisms.

1
Data Lifecycle & Purpose Limitation

Goafreet retains personal and commercial records strictly for the period necessary to fulfill the specific purposes for which they were collected, to provide contracted services, and to satisfy mandatory statutory, accounting, and legal requirements under Indian law.

2
Commercial & Statutory Retention Standards

Records are retained in accordance with operational necessity and statutory requirements: (a) Tax Invoices, GST Filings & Accounting Records are retained for the full statutory period required under Indian tax and corporate legislation; (b) Signed Contracts, SOWs & Commercial Approvals are retained for the duration of the engagement and the applicable limitation period under contract law to support dispute resolution; (c) Website Enquiries & Lead Forms are retained for a reasonable business development period unless earlier deletion is requested; and (d) Security logs are preserved as required for system integrity and regulatory incident investigation.

3
Secure Disposal & Irreversible Erasure

Upon the expiration of the applicable retention period or upon verified client instruction following engagement completion, records are irreversibly purged. Electronic files are permanently overwritten or deleted using industry-standard erasure procedures.

4
Backup Rotation Cycles & Residual Data

Data purged from active production databases naturally cycles out of encrypted secondary backups in accordance with standard disaster recovery rotation schedules, after which the backup media is automatically overwritten.

Contractual Hierarchy & Precedence

This document forms part of Goafreet’s operational legal architecture and is intended to be read in conjunction with our Master Service Terms and specific engagement proposals. Where a mutually signed Master Service Agreement (MSA), Statement of Work (SOW), or bilateral Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) contains more specific or differing terms, the signed agreement shall strictly prevail for that engagement.
