Upon project completion and sign-off, full commercial intellectual property (IP) and copyright for the newly drawn font binaries are permanently assigned to your organization. You receive unrestricted global rights with zero recurring seat, app, or pageview royalties.
Can Goafreet modify a commercial font our company already purchased?
Only if the parent font license explicitly permits modification (e.g. SIL Open Font License 1.1, Apache 2.0, or proprietary fonts with written legal authorization from the original type foundry). Merely owning a desktop font license does not legally authorize font modification.
How do you ensure authentic letterforms for Indian languages like Hindi and Gujarati?
We design Devanagari and Gujarati letterforms from foundational calligraphic ductus and native matra geometry, rather than mechanically forcing Latin proportions onto Indic scripts. Complex conjunct shaping is tested using HarfBuzz rendering engines.

Custom lettering consists of drawn vector paths for a specific wordmark, logo, or packaging headline (typically 5 to 20 characters). A full typeface family is an installable software binary containing hundreds or thousands of glyphs, pair kerning, OpenType layout tables, and screen hinting.
How are commercial estimates calculated?
Engagements are scoped based on glyph repertoire (e.g. 250 Latin glyphs vs. 800+ Devanagari conjuncts), weight and width range, hinting requirements, and delivery formats. All commercial estimates are denominated in Indian Rupees (₹) and provided as formal written proposals.
Can you produce variable fonts with continuous weight and optical size axes?
Yes. Where specified in the project scope, we engineer OpenType fvar and gvar tables allowing smooth vector interpolation between hairline and black masters, as well as optical sizing for caption and display contexts.
