Scope & Contractual Summary

Guidelines defining the boundary between iterative revisions and new scope, preventing scope creep and ensuring transparent cost estimates.

1
Purpose & Scope Protection

Clear scope boundaries protect both Client and Goafreet by ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget. This Policy defines the mechanisms for managing scope changes, iterative revisions, and supplemental feature requests.

2
Revisions Defined

A Revision constitutes a minor, iterative modification made to an existing deliverable that remains strictly within the parameters of the originally agreed brief. Examples include adjusting typography styles, fine-tuning colors, or making minor text refinements.

3
Scope Expansions Defined

A Change Request or Scope Expansion occurs when a requested alteration requires new architectural planning, additional development, or a departure from the agreed brief, such as adding new functional integrations, overhauling an approved design direction, or restructuring product catalog architectures.

4
Formal Change Request Procedure

When a material scope change is requested: (a) Goafreet evaluates the technical feasibility and timeline impact; (b) Goafreet issues a written Change Order specifying additional fees and timeline adjustments; and (c) Work commences upon written approval from an authorized Client representative.

5
Impact on Project Timelines

Client acknowledges that approving scope changes or requesting structural modifications during active development automatically extends the project delivery schedule.

Contractual Hierarchy & Precedence

This document forms part of Goafreet’s operational legal architecture and is intended to be read in conjunction with our Master Service Terms and specific engagement proposals. Where a mutually signed Master Service Agreement (MSA), Statement of Work (SOW), or bilateral Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) contains more specific or differing terms, the signed agreement shall strictly prevail for that engagement.
